Sync2Hire’s integration allows you to sync Employee, Job, Candidate and Application data from Greenhouse to Sync2Hire in order for users to communicate and collaborate to streamline the post application hiring process.
Creating a hub and Enabling the Sync2Hire Integration
Step 1: Log in to your Greenhouse Account
Step 2: Generate an API Key in Greenhouse
Navigate to settings
Navigate to Dev Center
Click API Management
Click Create New API Key
Select Candidate Harvest API as API Type
Select Sync2Hire integration. If the integration isn't listed, select unlisted vendor.
Description: Give your API key a descriptive name.
Note: The integration should provide guidance on which type of API key to create and which permissions you should grant to the API key.
When finished, click Manage permissions, or click Create to generate the API key and automatically assign it the appropriate permissions required by the integration.
After the key is created, click Copy. Paste the API key in a secure location to provide to the integration later.
Click I have stored the API Key.
Note: You can't access the full API key again after clicking I have stored the API Key. If you lose your API key and need to access it later, you must create a new API key, provide it to the integration, and then revoke access to the original key.
Next, confirm the permissions requested by the integration are assigned to your new API key. If any of the requested permissions are not assigned to the API key, assign them.
When finished, click Save.
Step 3: Create a Connection in Sync2hire
Navigate to Connections and Select Add (Plus Icon)
Sync employee, job, candidate and application data
Paste your API Key and Click Authorize. You do not need to enter Job board token.
The entire process will take few seconds.
Batch sync occurs every 30 minutes. Additionally, if enabled by the Sync2Hire Tech support team, auto-sync will trigger whenever there is an update to employee, job, candidate, or application data in Greenhouse.
