Sync2Hire’s integration allows you to sync Employee, Job, Candidate and Application data from Teamtailor to Sync2Hire in order for users to communicate and collaborate to streamline the post application hiring process.

  • Log in and Activate Sync2Hire in Teamtailor Marketplace
  • Create a hub (a.k.a workspace) and Enabling the Sync2HireIntegration
  • Sync employee, job, candidate and application data
  • Raise support ticket and reach out to support for troubleshooting with integration issues.

First thing is to enable your Sync2Hire integration with Teamtailor is to have an agreement with Sync2Hire so start by reaching out to your contact person at Sync2Hire.

Creating a hub and Enabling the Sync2Hire Integration

Step 1: Log in to your Teamtailor Account

Step 2: Visit Teamtailor Marketplace: https://app.teamtailor.com/companies/FwBJnC20X38/marketplace and find Sync2Hire to activate.

Step 3 : To be able to use sync2Hire integration, an API key needs to be generated in Settings → Integrations → API keys on your Teamtailor account. Note that this page is only accessible for users with Company Admin access. Whether or not you navigate to the Sync2Hire Integration via the Teamtailor Marketplace, you must create a Teamtailor API key to complete the sync with Sync2Hire.

Here you can both create new keys and delete existing ones. Note that once a API key is created it cannot be edited, only deleted.

To create an API key click + New API Key at the top right corner.

There are three different types of keys, with different permissions and scopes. These are all explained in our documentation here, and are as follows:

Permissions:

Public - access all public data available on the career site

Internal - public + internal data (for eg. unlisted/internal jobs, departments, locations)

Admin - access to everything in an account

Types:

Read - only fetch information and ‘read’ it

Write - only create new information

Read/Write - can do bothSelect the integration and click “+Create API Key”. Copy the value provided also save the key somewhere secure for future reference.

Create a Connection in Sync2hire and select add (+ icon)

  • Name your workspace (e.g. Company Name)

  • Select Teamtailor from the list

  • Add your API Key

  • The entire process will take few seconds.

  • The sync process will run every 30 minutes between 3 AM and 9 PM EST. As an admin on the Sync2Hire platform, you can monitor the sync status from the Integrations page.

  • Contextual Candidate Discussions: Associate relevant candidates with specific rooms to provide context for conversations.

  • Flexible Chat History: Add candidates to new or existing rooms, with the option to include or exclude chat history.

  • Compliance Warnings: Receive automatic warnings for EEOC, company policies, conduct, and confidentiality to ensure compliance.

  • Privacy Controls: Set rooms as private or public, depending on your needs.

  • Centralized Information: Access job descriptions, candidate information, and application statuses within the platform to maintain context during collaboration.

  • Conversation Scripts: Download transcripts of conversations for each room for record-keeping or review.

  • External Collaboration: Invite external users to rooms to contribute to conversations as needed.

  • Content Monitoring: All messages are analyzed for inappropriate content, with non-compliant messages flagged and suggested edits provided to ensure EEOC compliance.
